Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Ashley Karoly attended The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Zoology, and then attended North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. While at NC State, she was awarded the ACVIM Certificate of Clinical Excellence in Veterinary Internal Medicine. She was also elected into Phi Zeta Veterinary Medicine Honor Society.
After graduating from NC State, Dr. Karoly participated in a competitive 1-year Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Rotating internship with Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro, NC. While doing this, she worked alongside specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Radiology and Emergency Medicine.
After completing her internship, Dr. Karoly joined the Care First Animal Hospital team. For over a year, she worked as a veterinarian for Care First and an emergency clinician at Animal Emergency and Urgent Care. Now, she is practicing general practice full-time with Care First Animal Hospital at Glenwood.

Dr. Karoly has one pet, a 7-year-old long-haired Calico, named Sarabi. Sarabi was adopted as a rescue kitten in Ohio.
In her free time, Dr. Karoly loves to draw, paint, hike, jog, read, and capture bird and wildlife photography.
